Here´s my round 2 contribution.

backed down FX in general a bit
backed down the rhythmic fx on the noise track to go back more to the intention of the producer
backed down the kick and pushed the overall warmth more to compensate for a full and warm feel
added more mids and highs so that it stays consistent in terms of spectrum energy and feel when listening quieter

— EQed bass bus to reduce mud and clashing with the kick. Added a 1db dynamic ducking in the low end to give the kick even more room. It also allowed to reduce the volume of the kick.
— Minor additional EQing here and there, including high passing some of percussive elements.
— Added dub delays to more elements.

What I did:

- changed most delay fx and fine tuning them

-fine tuning reverb fx

-background noise is now lower in volume

- fine tuning clipping settings and gain stating on drums and basses to get that bass hit more pronounced

Thank you @Jorgeelalto for selecting my mix, and for your compliment.
I brought up the parallel track of the kick to help the kick cut through. Chant track now has a more prominent dub delay.

Hopefully, bringing up the kick parallel gave it that little more punch you were looking for (in the grading sheet). Brought up the low end just a little bit to also address the lack of lows, as per the grading sheet.

Also added Spectre to the bass tracks to bring out the notes.

Hey,

Pleased to make it into round 2! Thanks for the feedback, found it really helpful and agreed with it all so useful learning experience for me. Here's a summary of the changes I made for the revision:
Cleaned up the bass with some EQ and a little more ducking off the kick, particularly in the second half
Reduced some of the midrange in the bass (EQ changes and reduced distortion)
Reduced the saturation on some of the buses and eased of the compression a little so it sounds less compressed
Turned down the length and amount of the delay and reverb on the synth to stop the decay interfering with other elements
Few minor EQ/level tweaks to improve the balance

Hey everyone,
a pleasant surprise that I made it into Round 2, thank you @Jorgeelalto for taking the time to give such a detailed feedback to all of us!

I tackled the issues you mentioned, mainly by rebalancing the drums with fresh ears. Much happier with that now.
To my ears the two drops are more balanced now, too. Glad you liked my work with the delays, kept them that way!

Round 2 submission:

Kick: made it stand out more, brought the high end back in and cut a little of the low end
Sub bass: boosted volume, added mid range eq boost, cut far low end, scooped out some low end at 78hz for the kick
Kettle drum: Cut low end
Impact Metal: Cut a little low end
Added a filter driven by an LFO to to pads between bar 114 and 121 to add some interest
very small changes to multiband compressor

Overall was able to boost volume by .3db due to low end cuts.
