First: This was a tough task for me, but I definitely learned a lot about chords, how to compose and finally also how to get the correct loudness settings. I enjoyed the different genres and ideas, although some are not in the range of my musical taste. I grew up with the Beatles and the Stones have...

Although the tinnitus itself may not bother me that much, I don't think I can hear anything above 10-11K :) I try to take a break every 30-45 minutes when headphones are on, but if you get too into it and get caught up in the flow, you're obviously breaking your own rules. :) I would like to provid...

fyi, i don't wish to make the track public, so i withdrew A pity that you did this move. I liked what I heard, however as host I also have to uphold the rules. You did get feedback to your entry, you sadly didn't give feedback to others as well. Now you pulled your production because you don't want...

Finally I think I made it to get the correct loudness settings. In addition I did some minor changes and could remove a disturbing background sound. Reuploaded to soundcloud. Sounds much cleaner now. https://soundcloud.com/orpheusxl/the-day-when-my-heart-broke?si=21eeb18120a54c5299355803662a7e3c&am...

It is confusing because the targets are negative numbers, so -13LUFS would be exceeding the -14LUFS target (closer to zero = bad). There is a freeware called LUveler that can be used to limit the loudness settings: https://luveler.blogspot.com/ Since I use this with target levels -14,1LUFS and -1,1...

This was really a hard work to find out, which chords I used for this song. It has actually been created on guitar, then transfered to Midi already 3 years ago. But as I have no idea about music theory, it took me some efforts to find out the chords. Well, here they are: Bm,E57,Bm7 - Bm,E57,Bm7 - B...

Hi all, I had a lot of fun using RipChord. I downloaded some presets and used the 'one note' function that generates preprogrammed chords with an electric piano-ish sound. I arranged them in an order that sounded more or less musical to me. Some chords are extremely dissonant. But I didn't want to ...

I've checked the soundcloud link and really could not find the file. But it's there. So I used the "copy link" function. Please try again: https://soundcloud.com/orpheusxl/the-day-when-my-heart-broke?si=5c072619d8c7498c81937d4375be7e1c&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_...
