Hello Everyone, I just want to start by saying thanks, there were some really great mix engineers here.
So let's get to the list I choose as best mixes for overall full range sound.

1) Zsolt - best full range sound
> 2) MiniTooth-great balances
> 3)Jerez- originality, and great ending
> 4)ThatSome - great balances but a little harsh in the midrange
> 5)Kirurg- great balances but vocal didn't cut through as well as it
> could have

Everyone needs to know how difficult it was to pick from the round two as many of the mixes were close to each other in many ways.
My advice to all participants is:
Follow the rules, the mix challenge has very particular level requirements, it's too easy to get disqualified over levels. I know louder always sounds better but it doesn't apply here.
Don't change the integrity of the song, be careful if you speed it up, make it unnoticeable.

Thank You, john

Thank you John, and thank you guys, nice tips, this was so enjoyable!

I am glad to be in this community!

I'm sure this was a challenge also for John, our song provider, thanks for your time and also to Mister Fox!

It's an honor to be in 4th position

Was the vocals of my mix 'the reason' of mids harshness  ?

Well balanced.
And nice reverb effects.
Perfectly radio-ready/streaming-ready sound, I feel it! Gj
Thanks! I appreciate your comments.

Hello

Congratulations to all participants, particularly for the winners. Thanks to @Johnny11771 for the chance to know your music and learn to mix one more music style. Was an enjoyable work and I was very happy to be in the top fifteen!

As this was my first participation in the Mix-Challenge, I cannot fail to congratulate the team for such an organized and well done event. Of course, I will participate in the next challenge. I just downloaded the MC067 stems! So, let's go to the mix! :phones:

First and foremost, congratulations to the winners!

The Winners Podium is
1) @Zsolt
2) @MiniTooth
3) @Jerze

We perform with the usual - please select one license out of the pool (in order of the winners podium) and mention it in this thread, then (important) get in touch with me via PM with your full name, email address and your plugin selection. If one company has been selected, it's not available for the rest of the podium anymore.

I'll update the "winners podium" thread shortly.

Thanks again for your participation. You can leave the thread alive if you want to exchange tips/tricks, edits, etc.

Please don't forget the Songwriting Competition - which needs as much love as the Mix(ing) Challenge. See you on the flipside.
