You've been talking down to me this entire time and yes I am serious.

I'm sorry,but... I've been what?! :o
Talking down on you?

I don't remember me dancing on the heads of participants, talking down on them and acting superior.
I also think you don't know to whom you are currently talking to... and how you continue do so in a very negative way...

Tea bagging.. It's different. Google it. Anyway you guys have fun saying whatever you want...Im a big boy. I know a joke when I hear it. I know what to remember too.
Your not "annoying " me...just don't misquote me. Google "jokes and sense of humor" while your at it. You have to admit its been more fun following this thread than reading your 5 page rule sheet for the 10th time. Its dry bro...like can I get some water with those rules dry.

You should really make up your mind on whether it's "teabagging" or"sandbagging" currently. And that's the last I will say to this - and you said quite enough already as well. You have been warned several times at this point.

A friendly reminder:
Less than 24 hours left to submit your production

Can I get a hug? If not that's cool too...
One more issue...I know I'm high maintenance but your now dealing with a song comp vs a mix comp. How often does the band act as professional as the engineer? Musicians are high drama Divas...95%. Your gonna get all kinds of she hurt my feelings middle school sad stuff...always. The mixer is never the same person as a musician. Way way way more personal and more involved. I don't think I'm wrong here.

Here it is, I wouldn´t consider it a finished track but is better than not posting anything I guess.
The main idea was to make a song that would fit in a spooky/haunted house type of level in a videogame, not a very serious one but more like a Mario or Banjo-Kazooie game.
I think the instrumentation and rhythm are the keys parts of it, so I took advantage of the overly cliched sounds of horror films.
I will add more precise documentation later but now I´m in a hurry and won´t be back for the rest of the day.

Had a late in the game idea to do a murder ballad about the long haul trucker serial killer theory. It turned into a bizarre jazzy shitshow that sounds obnoxious. But I recorded it for your halloween time pleasure, so here it is.

Happy Halloween!!

Here's some stuff I've been doing throughout the month. It's an instrumental industrial thing, something for a series opening or similar.

MP3: https://mega.nz/#!wf5WAaja!8NaXLVv3IpGR ... 4VP9UoPgXM

Song's name is "Mecha SpiderQueen Skillfully Spins Her Web", and it sounds exactly like she would. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Cheers!!

well done guys! Nice to have another 3 submissions!
So here I go with maybe the very last song this month.

This song is a cooperation with Tbase2000 and Nige doing guitars, bass, vocals and some plastic drums.
Thanks to Moa for doing a french devil speach.
Some of you already listened to a similar and deleted version of this submissions earlier in this thread.
But this was lot of work and fun and i think its worth to be heard. So i reuploaded it with some more focus on the
"story" -It is maybe the first song ever with international Devil in it.
As you all know, the Devil has no prefered language, so here you have him simultaneously in french, german and english.
If you can listen to his words you are (maybe) allready doomed and should contact your local priest.- have fun and tell us what you think.

The 3 devils were Nige's idea. Think he subliminally controlled the lyrics vocals bass and the original guitar and drum tracks also. The guy is genius. Hes correct...no idea what I would have done without his grace. Good luck guys. You sail with pirates...dont be surprised by a mutany.

It is the 25nd October 2017, 2:45am GMT+1/CEST - this month's Songwriting Competition has official ended

Thank you so much for your participation. We initially had 6 participants, however 1 person has withdrawn his entry, therefore only 5 entries. Since we exceeded four entries, the new add-on rule (Staff adding "balancing vote") doesn't apply.

 How do we go from there?

Over the course of the next (hopefully) 24-48 hours, I'll gather all links into one post and hot-link to that from the first post of the thread. So please, check your links again. Mistakes and hiccups do happen on the internet. We then perform with the "public vote" system.

We have 5 participants, those being: Nige, FixInTheMix, erictracks, OctopusOnFire, beeble
That means that each participant can vote for 4 tracks.

The Top 10 list (or Top 5 per participant rather) can look something like this:
01 (10pts) - Mr Moon
02 (9pts) - Mr Sun
03 (8pts) - Mrs Venus
04 (7pts) - Mr Mars and his companions

Feedback during/after the "scoring list" is highly encouraged.
Musicians and Engineers are always after constructive criticism. This is what this forum is about.

If you have an idea for an upcoming Competition (like a theme or music genre), please voice it and/or your feedback/concerns here:
http://mix-challenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=97

Please have an eye on this thread! :tu:
