Mix Challenge - General Gossip Thread

Just while I think of it, I might have a connection to some high quality source material (not mine) but I'll need to check with the artists if they're ok with opening it up to Mix Challenge pre-release. I'll be speaking with them next week so will update you when I hear back. No promises though!

Yes, and I can tell you that for the most part the response to "I'll review yours if you review mine" has been very disappointing - no-one seems interested and when I asked the reason why it was suggested that what people really want is the thoughts of the song provider, not mine.

I sadly have no control over personal opinions / decisions by participants. I can only encourage users to interact and learn from each other. The rest is up to them.

It was just an idea and if others think there's no merit in it, c'est la vie!

Ultimately it is also my decision, considering time investment and having an overview of what might work, and what might not.

Just please keep in mind:

We need an active Song Provider, ideally the people that created the material to begin with (rights and decision making). The song must be a finished production. And I can not(!) guarantee "game for month ABC". Although currently, only the April spot is set in stone.
