I wouldn't say no to a reverse gated reverb on the snare, either! Cool song and very well performed.
Thanks for your feedback! Just a polite remark: there is no snare

All the songs had there own qualities and picking a top 5 was (like Always) not an easy task. But I did anyway. I start with the feedback:

Once again, many thanks to Mister Fox for this challenge and to everybody for your contributions.
Really great tracks, the musical standard is very high! So hard to make a classification!
I see that many of you have created tracks with lyrics, may I ask those who haven't done so to provide them next time (in English if possible)?

:arrow_right: A friendly reminder:
We're in the final 24 hours to submit your feedback and cast your vote.

As of this moment, 3 participants are missing. Please get that sorted out today.

Please check post #023 regarding the feedback and voting mechanic. Giving feedback is mandatory (the only criteria to become disqualified). Please don't let yourself be put at a disadvantage by not participating (fully). The Songwriting Competition lives from the given feedback towards each other. Don't just "collect" and then move on - this is unfair to all other participants.

Outside feedback is welcome, of course.

Good night,

Joint reflection.
As always, thank you all for participating and thank you Mister Fox for organizing this competition.
Congratulations on the good songs you have presented this month.
This month we have a good harvest of diverse songs, most of them sung. Very good for the people who are encouraged to sing. I would do it very badly.

Individual reflection.
I enjoyed participating this month (like every month). I have counted and I see that I have participated in this challenge 51 times!!!. And I still have a lot to learn. Above all, I have to make an effort to get out of my comfort zone. This month I have tried, maybe not completely, but a little. I have presented you with a song that I think fits well with the theme of the challenge proposed by Mister Fox, but at the same time, I have experimented trying to make a song in the style of a group that I like. I looked for videos that would help me identify characteristic elements of Tangerine Dream's music and tried to apply what these tutorials said. That way I got a little out of the traditional zone.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and votes made so far.
I leave you comments on your works:

Arelem – Fast Life
Good song. Very well done. I like the treatment of the voices, very interesting. The use of the saxophone is original. Too bad my English level is very low and I don't quite understand the lyrics of the song. Maybe I'm missing some more outstanding variation.

Strange – Was wenn die Menschheit nicht merkt was sie macht
Good song. The introduction gives way to a big change that is catchy. The sound of the German is great in this style of music. Thanks for sharing the lyrics in two languages.
You also did a good mix. And I really like the combination of layers of the voices, at that moment they sound close but at the same time distant (1:59 and following).

RickFinsta – Commute Hell
Good initial guitars with a good drum kit but the change at 0:29 is a bit sudden.
I like the details with the explanation of how you made the song.
Details that I would perhaps do differently: I find the drums too close and the vocals perhaps too muted.

Marc Fey - Breathless
I like the initial atmosphere, the rhythm that comes in after a few seconds, the pads playing the chords... This beginning is very interesting. Personally, when the guitars come in I don't feel so attracted anymore. On the other hand, when you recover the initial atmosphere it really catches my attention again. But all this is a matter of personal taste.
Very good work. Good mix. Good rhythm. Good atmosphere. Very good Marc!!
In the end I've woken up completely!!!

JeroenZuiderwijk - ik voel me gehaast
I like the frenetic video game sound environment that goes very well with the theme of this month's challenge. I think you've done a good job and a good mix, with elements that create interest or maintain interest.
I like the design you've done with the voices, some more present and some more distant. Good ideas.

juhu – Time´s Up!
A theme with a very original sound. These constant drones with the drum beats that sound everywhere, now here now there. What doesn't fit me so much are the voices at the end. They sound out of place and, even or perhaps intentionally, out of tune. But they create a very stimulating atmosphere. Good experimentation.

toadhjo – Time (Flowing Over Me)
I like the idea of introducing a cover in your initial comments.
Good work. Very good singing. I find it very well interpreted, because I wouldn't know, apart from the fact that I don't have the means to make decent recordings. Very good mix too. The truth is that I wouldn't know what to improve about the mix.
In terms of composition, structure, etc. I can't say anything either. I find it great.

aFutureInNoise – The Ivory Tower
I can already see that you're tired before you start singing :).
I love the bass. It's the first thing that caught my attention.
Good vocal interpretation, very well complemented with a thousand details. I love the more orchestral parts. The percussive details scattered throughout the song.
