Once again, I'm sorry to say that I can't participate in round 2 of the challenge since I'm not at home and my interface is getting repaired. I didn't want to take up one spot so I sent a message in advance to the client asking him not to include me in the list, but somehow it didn't work.

Here’s my second attempt at your song.
Thanks for your feedback, according to your wishes I addressed these items:
- Bass sounding too crunchy in the quieter moments of the song: I rolled back some saturation in the quieter parts.
- Delay at end of guitar lead: I turned the level of the delay down a bit so it’s less overwhelming.

About further adjustments: just some minor (or even micro)tweaks regarding some levels that you may or may not notice.

I made the necessary edits, and also changed the reverb (R2 to H-Reverb), changed the compressor on the master bus (DCAMFreeComp to TAN), added automation to some tracks.

I used a 2 mix busses technique (one clean one compressed) to stay clean but still dense and excited.

Then I tried to add entertainment with automation.

I can explain further if anyone asks.

Thank you for picking my mix ! Was a nice song to listen to and to mix
It's been a long time since I listened to my work. And ok my drums are very gentle. Ok for a boost
on the choruses (and not only).
Found my mix ok, but very thin (drums, gtrs, vocals), and the vocals a bit aggressive in the hi mid range (3k)
Rapidly my improvement list :
- change the verb (short plate), added a room verb (wide and dark one, applied on the drums bus and vocals)
- dynamic eq (izotope ) on the lead vocals bus -2db @ 3,3k
- 450 hz boost on lead vocals+ slight excitement
- a bunch of automation to highlight some elements (drums bus, vocals, each gtrs track)
- drums rework, less eq, more comp.
Many moves.
