First: Congratulations to Herb an Zsolt!

I have to be honest: I am really unhappy with being third (and a little suprised)! Mainly because I "don't hear it".
For example, one of the other mixes feels really muddy to me. I absolutely don't want to bash any other mixes here, don't get me wrong! But you only can learn if you know and understand your mistakes. So Gary, could you please elaborate what you liked better about the other mixes? That would be really helpful to me! And don't go soft, I'm a big boy
If anyone wants to educate me as well, go for it!

Mork, the clarity in your mix is fantastic, wonder how you achieved that, do you mix in mono a lot? I know I should do this more often, I´m so lazy with that...

thanks, that's what I really worked on... until I had to submit
I never mix in mono, just a quick check here and there if something disappears or other Phase related problems exist. I think it's a combination of balance, balance and balance, in this case also eq and panning. So the usual stuff. BTW I really liked the drive of your mix! It's just moving forward

I have to add, it's really a shame that Dave couldn't participate in round 2, because I was blown away by his mix! I liked It waaay better than mine because it's a prime example of clarity. It was the reason I basically have redone the whole mix for round 2.

My pick is the Tone 2 Filter Bank.

Hi Mork,
Just to say I was instructed by Mister Fox to pick 3 winners. My marking system had you 3 guys all within 1% of each other for different reasons so when Mr Fox posted the order I didn't wish to change that as in my eyes you were all winners. I hope that clears things up and once again I have to say I was really impressed by the work

I have to admit that my Intro part is too low and the fill guitar is a tad too loud. This is due to the fact that I mixed until the last second (as always) and couldnt do a last check with fresh ears. Anyways, thanks again for the song!

Just to clarify: I picked the Tone2 Ultraspace because the Filter Bank is not an option.
