Pheeeeeeew, I made it!

Edit: Okay, just wanted to make sure that I am safe.
Due to super heavy workload throughout last week (including the weekend) I wasn't able to touch up my mix. I had to leave town yesterday (again, work) but I really wanted to participate because of the nice discussions we had. Yesterday I tried to work on the mix but my Macbook couldn't handle the session (which I mixed on my Desktop PC) and just was going nuts. It seems like the Fabfilter GUIs are causing some trouble... Anyways, today I was like "forget it" but I couldn't let go!
So, although I am pretty exhausted I cooked up a completely new mix in Reaper (which is a bit more efficient) based on the feedback. I carried a few things over but also did other things completely different. I tried to place the drums a little more in the background, let the bass carry the weight and have an overall "acoustic" vibe. I tried to have less "esses" and overall clutter on top. And I tried to have a grande finale

I had to mix this completely in 4 hours on my headphones and a mono Bluetooth speaker (thank god I took my little Faderport with me), so I hope there is something to like about it . After I was stoked that I really rendered the file in time I opened Google Drive... which wanted me to authenticate that I am really me

After I could convince Google that this is really, REALLY my computer, I discovered that the hotel Wifi upload is practically non existing, so in the end I had to upload the file via phone hotspot. Now that's a fun evening

That is also the reason why I just uploaded a Flac file. I hope that's fine, given my situation.
If the mix is a little hot it's because my Pro L2 meters where freakin out, but I tried to get as close as possible to the target level.
I guess that is the usual pace for a pro, but I am glad that I pulled it off
Cheers
