Hi all, please find my submission for MC094 here:

Life was a bit crazy this month, so I apologize in advance for the less-than-stellar documentation I am about to post. (I am currently typing this on my phone on a Greyhound bus without my computer in front of me.) Anyway, enough excuses..
Drums - I pretty much compressed the hell out of the kick & snare. I was going for that “in your face” down the middle sound. I did a pretty aggressive high-pass on the overheads to focus on the cymbals. There’s reverb on the snare and toms. I let the room tracks handle the rest.
Bass - both tracks were used per the song provider’s request. I did my best to blend them together, and to let those melodic lines come through.
Guitars - not much other than panning and a bit of EQ and reverb. I did a lot of pan automation to try to give the stereo image contrast between the sections of the song.
Synth - basically just a lot of saturation and some reverb. I struggled getting them to play nice with the other instruments. But they’re definitely in there. If I hit mute during playback, there was an obvious sonic hole.
Lead Vox - yeah, it’s compressed to death with a dash of reverb.
BG Vox - pretty much just compressed, panned for width, and hit with reverb.
That’s all that comes to my fried brain at the moment. Feel free to let me know if you have any specific questions or concerns.
Thank you for listening, and for your consideration.
Best regards,
Jeff (jeffssoloband)
