Here's my mix. Found this challenge about an hour and a half ago. Slammed it out just in time. I could have used more time to do some edits, but the performance was solid enough to just go with.
I used mainly Slate plugins, mixed in Logic Pro, used NO samples. Kept it pretty simple, added a bit of saturation to the lead vocal. I hope you enjoy my mix. Thank you!

Quite a challenging mix - but very enjoyable! I didn't attempt to correct timing issues and mainly focused on tonality & balance. I did address some phase-related issues with the Bass & Snare tracks. And I split the L Vox into separate tracks for the lyrics and falsetto parts for effects automation.
I added a really crushed "faux drum room" to add ambiance to the drums. I had trouble getting them to fit the mix until I added some room.
You can see my basic processing set up in the screenshots. Gotta submit now with time running out. If more info is needed, I will add it later.

Hello,
Great track, pleasure to have the opportunity to mix it! Especially your lead singer's voice.
Here are some notes:
Bass: I only used one of the signals to prevent phase issues. I ran it through a Melda parametric EQ and PTE pultec EQ to shape it and sidechained 100hz down to the kick signal
Guitar: I used Reaper comp, TDR VOS Slick EQ, and RubyTube
Vox: I used TDR Kotelnikov for compression, TDR Vos Slick EQ, ReaEQ, and RubyTube and Softube for Saturation. I did remove the intro falsetto part to draw focus to the instrumental, though this decision is just to taste.
Drums: I mixed the kick pretty loud as I really like it's quality. I used a separate Snare and Kick bus and serial compression with Molot and Ultracomp on each of those buses. I used a Fruity Convolver to add some light reverb to the drums. I processed the overheads with SEQ, TDR VOS Slick EQ, Maximus, and Fruity Parametric EQ 2.
Cheers to a great load of entries!

Hi Imax
It's past 0:15 and the contest is over
So tell me, I have more than a big doubt that invades me:
Are you really sure that everything (instruments, especially the piano,
vocals and choirs) is really in place?
Otherwise it's my computer that jokes or my ears that are tired ...
musically

It is the 22nd July 2019, 03:30am GMT+2/CEST -
the first Mix Round has officially ended
Once more, a very warm welcome to all new participants, it makes me happy to see even more new faces this month. Although, I'd love to see just as many for the monthly recurring Songwriting Competition. Also, a huge
thank you to everyone that is spreading the word about the Mix Challenge.
STATISTICS:
- If I didn't miscount, we have 00 submissions (number will be updated shortly, minus 1 entries, see disqualifications) this month
- We have 0 users that redacted an entry
- We have 0 submission after the deadline
- We had 0 submissions through SoundCloud only
- We had 0 submissions that can not be downloaded (there were several warnings issued however)
- I had to address the Rules and Guidelines a couple of time(s)
- I had to address 1 disqualification due a straight up remix (SeanieLloyd)
I'll be doing a submission count the next 24 hours - apologies for the waiting time.
Please check all if your links again, make them downloadable(!). Those that uploaded MP3s only, please take note: providing a WAV file
is mandatory. Please also
update your posts with documentation for others to learn from (see
Rules & Guidelines).
I now open the field for everyone to give each other feedback (highly encouraged). This will be independent to the
client feedback however.
Please watch this spot for the client feedback and Mix Round 2 participant announcement.
Good luck to all participants.
The Songwriting Competition 23 (SWC23) is still in full swing.
The deadline is 24th July 2019, 11:59pm GMT+2/CEST - so far there have been 1 entry (if I didn't miscount). This has been a requested genre, so far I'm not happy with the results.
We've also ran out of material for future Mix(ing) Challenges, which puts this game's existence at risk. Please take note of the
Song Pool Campaign, and reach out.
Please spread the word!

I have a song that would be great for the mix challenge. 100% mine. Recorded before I upgraded all my equipment, so it might be a good candidate. I'll send a PM
