Hi @Kron,

Thanks for your comment. I probably took the "I'm hoping to hear some quite heavy and/or creative use of reverbs and delays" comment too far and that's fine - I'm here to learn, practice and improve. The song provider has very kindly given me some additional feedback which is really helpful.

Cheers!

Hi @BenjiRage ,

This is my revision for the second round.
I just applied some automation to the vocals in the chorus sections to bring them slightly more forward in the mix.

Good luck to all the participants, and well done, everybody

Hey buddy, I tried sending you a private message over an hour ago, but it is stuck in my outbox. Don't know why.
Does this ring a bell? MC104__BenjiRage__AboveTheClouds__ForumUsername_R2

Drums are a bit roomy and lose some attack because of it, especially the toms. OB plucky is a little loud. The vocals have a good up-front quality with very good definition and diction, I can hear all the syllables really well, which not everyone managed in their mix, so well done with this. You've used some nice effects too, which I quite like.
Thank you for the feedback @BenjiRage . Funny that I thought drums had too much attack and reduced transients for the final bounce.

Shame it wasn't enough to get into the final, good luck everyone and let me best mix win!
