Hello… I would like to know if it was normal to haven’t any returns about my mix?
I understood that all participants should be analysed.
Thx for your response.

I´m not in any official capacity here in the forum but allow me to quote the song provider from this post:

My goal going into this was to provide feedback to everyone which I unfortunately won’t be able to do in this post as everyone in my family got the flue and I lost about ten days. With some luck I might be able to add more feedback and comments later on.

Thank you, @Edling for letting me advance to Round2 and your feedback!
Here's my revision for the next stage.
I have quite a similar impression of my R1 mix as you seem to have yourself, in that the energy was good but it needed a lot of cleanup in the bass and some revoicing of the mids (especially the relationship between bass/kick and chorus guitars/strings). After I did that, I felt that the energy was not the same any more, so I adjusted the 2bus compression/automation accordingly. Cleaning up also afforded me more space on some parts.
Hope you like it!

Added a bit of shine to the keys and automated them to achieve power in the bridge. Adjusted the drums and bass for punch as well. The energy definitely increased.
Added spring into a delay for the solo.
Adjusted/added automation in other parts of the song to further add movement or dynamics.
I hope it meets your expectations. Thank you for the opportunity.

Hey there, I hope everyone is doing great!
It's wonderful to see that the dear artist is happy with the mix. I had a great time working on it, and I would like to go into further detail about my thoughts, ideas, and motivations for my actions.
I made the requested changes first, and then I'll go into more detail on what I usually did in R1 and R2.
The main goal of my mix was creating that 3-dimensional analogue sound that we all love. However, a lot has happened after the digital era and the introduction of in-the-box mixing.
I tried to achieve the sound that I was looking for through hybrid mixing, which led to warm and full 3-dimensional sound but also precision and separation and cleanness that digital brought to us.
Generally I don't like to place guitars by themselves on the stereo field, so I used duplicates to balance the stereo field and i tried to keep the wall of sound but also make it huge and feel like an exploding chorus.
By creating contrast and depth with using effects and automations and...etc, I tried to open the track up and to promote the story that the band tried to tell to the audience.
Usually in mastering stages, I use EQ crossfades to mid-side EQ different sections of the track and then feed it to the limiter.
(For example i would low-pass the mid channel in the pre outro section then bring it back in in outro.) but since we are not mastering it, I didn't do it.
And the final point is that I believe transients are the life of the track. However, when mixing, we are fighting voltage, and we try to limit the output.
But with the system that I used, I added the transients back in using harmonic distortion and psychoacoustics so that in the mastering stage we could easily reach commercial loudness without squashing the life out of the music.
I hope You guys enjoy it.

Thanks again @Edling, for these multi-tracks and also for your feedback.
I hope I've managed to control better the low-end relation between bass/kick

I'm glad to have the opportunity to continue working with these tracks. Thanks for your feedback, @Edling. With this in mind, my main goal has been to maintain the overall essence.
Regarding the requested adjustment ("More power in the bridge"), I've made a few tweaks in this section:
- Guitar distortion: Increase the gain of the compressor's wet output and the added distortion (more on the right side, which comes from a lower volume).
- Lead keys, mellotron, and strings: Increase the high-shelf EQ.
I consider that if some elements needed to be increased in volume (those mentioned above), there are others that should be decreased so as not to compromise the overall atmosphere, where there was room for it. In this regard, I added a barely perceptible EQ (high-pass at 25 Hz) to the bass bus and lowered the volume of the quieter parts of the song (0.40 dB).
In adition, I've also lowered the volume of the wah's first sound after the noise and adjusted the pre-effects volume on the lead vocal to eliminate some of the pops and hiss.
Cheers.
