Hi All!
This is my first Mix Submission.
I really enjoyed this mix
I mixed it in Pro Tools 2020.3
I mainly worked looking to create a good atmosphere and space in the mix, without neglecting the harmonic balance in the spectrum.
I used many processes to enrich harmonic distortion, panning and some filters automation in fx echoes and reverbs.
I hope you enjoy listening, as I enjoyed mixing
All comments are welcome!

I'm hoping that Jorge is looking for an "adventurous" mix - something that more creative that just balancing and polish. I tried a few different things, finally came around to a "Beck does liquid D&B" feel to it. A lot of fun.
Here's some of the effects I used:
Bong - a lp filter where the frequency is modulated by a lfo that is also modulated by an lfo.
HH - ValhallaFreqEcho heavily automated and goes into self- oscillation.
Lots of Audio Damage Liquid.
Like other people's submissions it needs a bit of spank from a good master.

Thankk you. BespokeAudio, check your download link, wav is over 300MB and can not be opened.
@BespokeAudio
The file seems in surround sound format (11 channels). Actually there are L and R channel
with audio present in this file but regular players can not play that.

Oh crap, thank you!

Hey there,
i used FabFilter-R and LittlePlate as Reverbs, also Valhalla Spacedesigner. Some distortion by Soundtoys was used. EQs were Fabfilter and Geq550, also SieQ.
Liked that very much, took the Chance to listen to some old Roni Size tracks i used to listen to.

Hi,
Not my genre at all so this was cool to experience a new approach. I tried to stick with the artist's vision from original mix with my 2 cents added. I tried to make the mix more spacious by panning and filtering mainly. My mix has groups/folders like "drum&bas" and "rest" as I thought that the drum and bass section should be considered as the core of the song (so louder and more norrow) and all the ambiences etc. should be far away (quieter and spread). I don't have experiece with mixing 808 at all so that part was more intuitive for me. I hope my mix doesn't suck much, but If so I would be thankful for any opinion
. This is my first submmision here so I also hope that I managed to stick to the rules.

Hi,
I used Studio One. I used FabFilter Pro-eq MB and Comp plugs, with Brainworks SSL E & J, along with Valhalia plugs for reverbs.
Mix screenshots and Master channel (mains):
Here are greenshots of the mixer overview in studio one 4. I used FabFilter Pro-L on the mains. I have other plugs on master channel but didn't use them in the end.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
I used earphones to mix this, and mixed using a pair of calibrated seinheiser HD650's through 'sonarworks reference' vst as the last plugs on the mains.
After I got stuff how I liked it in my earphones, then I send some key stems of my choosing to my Neve 8816's (!), and leaving the 'mains' to pass through the Neve also. The summing makes a big difference (even if my mix isn't that great, its still a big difference; the Neve 8816 is more subtle than the ssl sigma, I liked both but I think I prefer the sigma) I hope it sounds ok as im only using earphones.

Hope it sounds ok. Cheers!!

My submission for this month:
WAV 44.1/24 —
listen here.
New genre to me. Tried a few new tricks, but eventually returned to what I do usually.
Here are a couple of
overview screenshots.
Thank you.
