MP3: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1s6DSHU ... sp=sharing
This was a lot of fun! amazing song and recording.
I used all tracks except for the Guitar DI.
Drums: used a waves Puig 670 and a waves SSL Bus Compressor
Kick: sansamp and boosted some low end with the stock EQ
Snare: Boosted some 300 and some 10K I also sent it through a bus to the room mic so I could trigger the room.
Guitars: Sent them to a bus and added a CLA-3A and some 500 and 7K
Bass: ran it through a sansamp and added some 800hZ
Vocals: made a parallel with the CLA-76 and a sansamp
Then I used some little plate for reverb and a Primal tap for guitar delay.

Hello everyone ,
Great song , it was really enjoyed to mix.
-Drums- Good recording drums nice sound overall - start with sub kick roll off high frequency and slightly cut the rumble sound at 25hz and below -moving to kick in and emphasize the midrange area at about 2k. bus 2 kick to 1 aux track and used a parallel compression.
To the Snare ... took out boxiness area at 400-500hz and boost around 7-8k , used also parallel compression to snap a snare a little bit.
Toms -Eq and compression bus all toms to 1 aux track . used the same parallel compression track(1176) to the reset of the drums .
-Bass- re-amp the amp bass track and bus 2 bass track to 1 aux track same compression but different eq. (still I hear little resonance coming from certain frequency . maybe i fix it later if i will pass from R1 )
-Gtrs-used all gtras tracks Di and amp blended together .re-amp eq and compression .
-In bridge i reversed gtrs track played with main melody ! if you don't like it i can remove it very easily .
-Vocal - Eq and little bit of compression -reverb -slap delay
-For the client- I need just 1 line feedback no more to tell me what's your think in my mix !
Here is my Submission .
Siehst Du mich.wav
Siehst Du mich.mp3
-Off Topic-The main purpose here is Review- Feedback nothing else . honestly i can't see any review from members and the clients very often feedback the participants for R2 !! i will keep repeating my mistake without even notice.
Cheers !

Quite simple set up. The sound is made mainly with eqs in every track and automations.
DRUMS
I wanted drums to create the sense of space.
Some parallel compression to kick and snare.
Plate and rooms to snare
WIth overheads I used ReaFir to tame cymbals.
BASS
I used only DI. It went through bx_bassdude. Some parallel compression
GUITARS
I didn’t use Git DI 1-2.
I didn’t use Git Amp 3-4.
To guitar bus I aded Noveltec Vocal Enhancer.
VOX
As the singer is good I was after a natural close vox sound
just basic eq, saturation, some parallel compression and some plate.
MAIN BUSS
Just some eq and little bit saturation.
I wasn’t after any specific loudness level but in the end I checked loudness values with Reaper Loudness Plugin
Integrated loudness 15.2 LUFS
True peak: -1dBTP
MP3: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WuLmI ... KR3Mz7PO6W
WAV: https://drive.google.com/open?id=14OUJo ... g_yNDRyE_c

Hello everyone,
Thank you for giving the opportunity to mix this band and this beautiful pop/rock song with them.
it is a classic mix with a lot of respect for its recording, because more changes must be made in agreement with the band and the production or make a remix that is not a mix challenge... No samples, original drums only, no bass and guitars reamp , no compressor, eq or stereo expander on the mix bus, no limiter, ready for mastering in 24bits/EBU R128 -23LUFS/-6dbTP/DR14
My tools:
Drums:
Phasing elements for maximum punch (Mautoalign Medla Production), Gold2 Acustica eq (especially low pass and hi pass filter to clean ...) Pink2 Acustica for all elements of the drums, Pink2 compressor on the bus, dynamic eq Melda Production on the room.
Gt:
Acustica Pink2 eq + comp
Bass:
Phasing elements (Mautoalign Medla Production) for maximum punch, Pink2 Acustica eq and comp on the bus
Lead:
Acustica Cream for color, Pink2 comp on the bus
Effects:
inserted on all buses for color, acustica N4 Alexb SC9 (studer console...) on the lead vocal, Lemon, Izotope Nectar, Eventide micropitch on guitars ...
A series of automatisms on the effects and the fades, mix in the box with Studio One 4 with a lot of pleasure :-)
WAV: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1c8pnz ... Wf8YBgP_mj
MP3: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gWNvh ... zZaVwHgU8f
Looking forward to hearing your comments :-)
Good listening to all,
Patrick from Brussels

WAV:
https://soundcloud.com/user-775455996/m ... h_audiotis
MP3:
https://soundcloud.com/user-775455996/m ... h-audiotis
Drums:
Standard eq and compression for snare and kick, then sent to buss for glue.
Created a separate reverb for snare, toms, cymbals and room.
Deesed the cymbals.
Bass:
Used the amp for character and the DI just for the low end.
Grouped both and treated the low end with multiband compressor.
Guitars:
Only the clean amped guitars where used. For the rest, I (digitally) reamped the DIs with different heads and cabs for texture.
Added a frequency delay to one of the guitars in the bridge for movement.
Vocals:
Eq, slow and fast compressors, deeser and more eq for top end detail.
Sent to: reverb, delays, saturation and a sort of doubler.
Duplicated the chorus and treated it with distortion for texture.
Mix Bus:
Compression, eq and tape emulation.
Great song by Rahel.
Thanks for the opportunity!

Hello everyone !
This is the first time I participate in this contest and I must admit that I took a lot of fun to mix this project of very good quality.
Here is my submission:
Wav Version
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oZOi_ ... dGZwPcjoRP
Mp3 version
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1NiuSU ... qG9PNuA5Wi
Battery: It already sounded very basic and I did not do any particular treatment, EQ, compression, I added some slight distortion on some tracks and I sent the snare in a reverb flat.
Base: I used both tracks sent in a bus. As for the rest, EQ, Compression and I duplicated the track to reverse the phase in the low frequencies.
Guitars: I also used all the tracks, but for the refrains I only kept saturated guitars. I made light treatments to try to keep a grunge and natural side. I did not re-amplify but I applied a SSLEQ with different settings for each guitar.
Voice: EQ, Parallel compression and saturation and automation when needed. I varied the width between the parts. (wider on the choruses)
Reverbs: I used a plate for the snare and another for the voice, 2 hall set differently for the instruments and the bridge.
Delays: A slight delay on the voice at the end of the sentence and on the guitar for the bridge.
Thank you very much Rahel for sharing this fabulous project, a beautiful discovery!
Good luck everyone.

Hi there!
My first participation.. and what a song!
Coincidentally, it was my first attempt at a new software (Studio One) as well.
.MP3: https://yadi.sk/d/bXJGiInofmjO2w
.WAV: https://yadi.sk/d/N6NK8xYCwJVkeQ
Master Bus
I threw together a rough mix, and then treated the master bus right away — a little bit of EQ (a 1db cut in low mids) and applied no more than 1.5 db compression with SSL Bus Compressor (emulation by Native instruments).
I used high passing everywhere, though very gently, 6db per octave mostly.
I also set up Console emulation thing, with super minimal drive and several % of crosstalk (not sure if that works, I am still in process of learning how to hear subtle stuff of which they always talk).
Vocals
To my ears the vocal part was very harsh sounding untreated.
I did quite a bit of resonance reduction, midrange multiband compression, deessing.
Compensated with an exciter, followed by LA-2A by Waves.
The vocals got a bit of room reverb (Softube TSAR-1R) and ping-pong delay (probably STA Delay). The last chorus got additional hall reverb.
Drums
I did some reductive EQ with the kicks and snares, bussed everything, saturated with Omega Transformer, and did some parallel compression (sort of) with +10db channel strip. I guess I also added a little Drive with Sonimus SonEQ somewhere in the chain.
Bass
Nothings fancy, I think — a little stock EQ and LA-2A by Waves.
Guitars
A bit of reductive EQ and added top end.
I ended up not using a a couple of guitars track — I felt like they were only adding the mud, it was too much going on.
Edit: any feedback, tips and suggestions are appreciated! here to learn.
Have a good day! And the next one as well!
