Hellou there,

I want to share with you this track I've made this last week. Maybe you can share with me some feedback to make it better for my final entry.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2m6yucfgnkvo3 ... y.wav?dl=0

The idea behind it came to me when I was running in the park. I love nature, so I wanted to create a soundtrack for the plants and trees that live in my park. So it's nor a happy or sad song. The feeling i was hoping to get was a physical and visceral emotion in appreciating the beauty that surround us.

Hope you like it.

Almost first. Here is my quick entry for this round and consider it final since no more time for me to invest in this track. Idea was to evoke the nature awakening mood. Imagine the flower growing in time lapse footage. I wanted support this using simple melody. For ambient stuff I used layering of different instruments. In first part it is xylophone and marimba from AGE - heavily processed. Later it is kind of vocal pad made with Pharlight layered with chimes from AGE. In last part there is main melody line using Efimov bawu together with 8Dio sopranos. Choir was tricky since it does not include monophonic legato only poly legato. It takes some tweaking to make it sound almost good. Yup I know there is more then 2 instruments but I used them more as background ambient melodic pad.

No binaural audio but I tried to make really wide sound stage while making it mono compatible. Mix is quite "airy". Not much happening in low frequencies except few sweeps made with 8Dio 66 basses here and there.

Made using FL Studio 20.6
Instruments used:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1x 8Dio Acoustic Grand Ensembles 1

So the mood and the idea is nice. Like that low end that add power to mix. Theme is nice but I think it have bit of sad feel for me. I would like to hear more complex melody with that piano to give the track more character and maybe it is the way to reverse this sad mood a bit.

What I do not like is the 30 second fadein intro. It is really weird kind of like lame simulation of dynamics. This for sure I would change.

[EDIT] I edited the track slightly and uploaded a new version about 10.30 am GMT Tuesday. It's only the part 1:15 – 1:40 that's edited, but I also changed the mp3 to 320 kbit (instead of 180), cause I saw this is recommended. [/EDIT]

Her is my entry. Titled "2 Day Bloom "
I dreamt I was a flower
Spent two days on a hill
Sun came down in showers
The wind was blowing still
I used four elements . Xpand! for the low end, Acoustic guitar highly processed, a crystal port glass and a used candle jar.
3 aux FX trx- 1:Abbey Roads Chamber>Air Ensemble>ProCmp>Air filter gate >SUM + side bus to FX 3
2: D-verb>ProCmp>Air non linear rvb> SUM + side bus to FX 3
3: Tape Echo> MondoMod>H-Delay> EQ > SUM
Mstr (SUM) Bus JST Clipper> Slate VBC rack>F6-RTA>L1
crystal:( sm 58) F6-RTA>Frequency shifter> Air rvb> L1 > sum +side bus to FX 2
Cndel jar:( Tascam TM 80) EQ > side bus to FX 3 . sampled then reversed, duplicated > sum
Acc GTR:DI> 11Rack (clean) > sum + side bus to FX 1
Xpand! two pulses to drive the trance: song tempo 114 bmp.one at 28.5 bpm And one at 57 bpm , which is a pleasant and relaxing heart rate
