Please cross reference with the Youlean Loudness Meter (Free Version), set the preset to either EBU R128 S1 or ITU-R BS.1770-4, run your track from start to finish, check the "Integrated Value". If it's not going higher -16 LUFS or lower -24 LUFS while also not exceeding -1,00 dBTP, your entry is within loudness specs.
With this method + master fader lowering volume I am now able to stay within acceppted loudness. Ready for next time! Thank you all for the support

Sorry folks, stepped in for some off-topic forum clean-up.

A short update regarding the MC084 evaluation process:

The Song Provider(s) really enjoyed many of the entries. The band is currently doing a lot more listening and working on their notes. They promised to say "hi" ever so often and keep us up to date. Please keep an eye on this thread.

Hi everyone,
What a fantastic job it is to listen to your mixes, we are impressed with the ceativity and attention to detail you bring to the table. We are currently listening, sharing notes and thoughts between the band, the hard part is deciding the best, there are so many good ones and we are a democratic(small d) band, so many opinions must reach consensus. Thanks so much for your efforts and dedication. We look forward to completing the process in a week or so. Hopefully we can do this again sometime.

Greetings All,
Picking 15 semi-finalists was really tough, heck, settling on the first group of 30 we picked first was hard. There were so many good mixes, in fact we were amazed at the overall consistency and quality.
We culled down to 30 then down to the final 15. As a band, we were in full agreement on 10 of the 15, negotiated the last 5.
The mixes that made the cut shared a few things in common, well managed low end-kick and bass, openness and nice sense of space, well treated vocal-tuning and effects, generally louder drums and inventive/creative use of the tracks provided. The mixes that did not make the cut generally suffered from a lack of one or more of the above mentioned preferred qualities.
The best part of this experience for us, was the response and the education we received about our own song, our final mix will definitely be informed by all of your efforts. For those of you that don't continue on, a couple of suggestions: review your monitoring space and be certain it is telling you the truth about the low end, perhaps the single most important element of a pro mix, also consider not using your solo button or listening to tracks in isolation to make any EQ or timbre decisions, let the song and tracks together tell you what should happen to an individual part. Thanks again and keep on mixing!
Here is the list of semi-finalists:

1. Badgerface #21
2. Paupeu #22
3. Gertius #37
4. Green-Dog #39
5. maxoverdrive #48
6. zajus #55
7. ajlsoundwave #61
8. IbanezoO #62
9. UHLS #63
10. dnlptn #76
11. Michael_K #80
12. DeifDiamond #81
13. JamesMusic #82
14. alantwelve #83
15. vintage #89

Now we only need feedback for these 15 participants, @tmort1277. Then we can officially start Mix Round 2.

Hi, was my second time here in the mixing challenge. Another disqualification because of the Bitrate....
im using Adobe Audition and use the 44100/24Bit.
Im not shure why u see here 23Bit.
But no problem. I was mixing the title for fun and i will not buy an other programm only for the Challenge.
The 0,7DB out of range i give as a present for u.
You know the Korinter?
There was a many time to mix the song and again for nothing.
Music is to hear and feel and nobody outside is interessting in 0,7DB Dynamikrange less or more.
The same for the Bitrate. Nobody can here the difference.
Its more work to hit the rules than mix the song.
But ok. Is your decission.
Im out.
Greetings from Germoney
