Hey here's mine go on mastering this track:
WAV: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cUdAX ... D2UCzAqZKG
MP3: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1fJlpJ ... y21sT5XG2Q

14 LUFS and 1db true peak acording to Izotope Insight
Chain:
FL Parametric EQ2: 3db dips with sharp Q's at 260Hz and 550Hz
Ozone 7 exciter: Mild multiband tube saturation
PuigTec EQP1A: Boosting some highs and subtle "pultec trick" on 60Hz
MaxxBass: Medium preset only tweaked "MaxxBass" fader
Waves SSL Comp: 2:1 ratio Attack 10 and auto release and barely just hitting the needle
Linear Phase Multiband Compression: Opto style and again just slight compression
Ozone 7 EQ: Cutting lows on side channel and boosting high's on sides, slight boost on mid channel on bottom end
L3-LL Multi: 7db boost
And finally Ozone7 Maximizer on true peak limiter

Here you go!
The primary issues dealt with were:
1. Guitar solo - Used MDynamicEQ to tame the harsh peakiness @ 2362 Hz. That didn't touch anything but the guitars. I also used MDynamicsMB (Multi-band comp) to also catch a little bit more of the harshness.
2. On the Master Bus, I addressed some low-end boominess using Waves C6 Stereo floating band @ 100 Hz along with using a little upwards compression just below that. I also dealt with a bit more harshness with the other floating band @ 6728Hz while adding a little upward compression in the mids along with highs above 11 kHz for some air. I used Waves Vitamin to add some stereo widening and a little "vibe". I followed that with a HP filter @ 30 Hz to tuck in the bottom end, along with A1StereoControl to mono the bottom below 150 Hz.

For limiting, I used the Newfangled Elevate followed by Izotope Ozone 7 Maximizer for the final boost along with True Peak limiting, DC Offset Filtering, and dithering.

I ended up hitting the Loudness target of -14LUFS and a True Peak maximum of -0.32 dB. I used Codec Toolbox Manager to encode to Mp3 and add the ID3 Tags.

BTW just found the great tool to measure integrated LUFS - https://youlean.co/online-loudness-meter/
just upload your track without needed listening to song from start to finish. Amazing.

Hi all

My chain of "mastering" this song..

FabFilter Pro-Q2 in mid/side mode. Wanted to work on the widening not just by boosting the side channel straight off. So.. did a wide side boost at about 300Hz and a minor dip in the mids same frequenzy. Hipassed the side, loshelved the mid channel after doing some referencing. Added some air / hi shelving mid/side boost and lopassed the side.

Next in chain..
FabFilter Pro-MB. Some sloow compressing of the lows. And a regular settings compband around 2,5kHz only during the solo.

Elysia nvelope.. attempt to soften the attack of the kick

Elysia alpha compressor in mid side mode. Sat up slowish to even out the mid contra side portions of the song. Goal was to narrow the widest parts and widen the narrowest parts. When wideness was more even I boosted the side channel.

Waves Saphira. Not gotten that good results with this plugin before, this time though!!! great at thicken the overall sound.

Fabfilter Pro-L, to be honest... I pushed it harder than I had to... I liked it a bit less "peaky". Lowered the overall output to match the -14LUFS target.

As you might guessed by now my main concern with this mix was wideness first and eq second. I´m more into mixing but fun to practice/fooling around a bit mastering as well.

Will be great fun comparing the different masters. I didn´t know how to trim the start and end of the song so I only trimmed the start and end levels (fade in/out) and kept original length to easily set it up next to the others.

Hey mange, I've just been able to add the comment with mp3tag, I could not add the line jumps though... I separated the lines with commas and that's it :P
