Everyone has sent in an edit.
We have no submissions after the deadline.

Please check your upload links again, and have an eye on this thread for the final feedback and results.
Since this is the end of the year (we're still in the holiday season), please give the song provider a couple of days to work through the material.



I'm now opening up the room (again) for Q&A's and giving each other feedback (which is highly encouraged)

Hello and happy new year to everyone.

Friends, you have made it very difficult for me as all the R2 mixes have been really good.

Thanks to all the participants because all of you have interpreted and implemented the suggestions given in R1 in a magnificent way. All tracks could be ranked 1, 2, or 3.

Now it is only a matter of feelings and not technique since all the tracks have an ideal balance.

Unfortunately only 3 can access the podium so, after much thought,
the winners are:

If one company has been selected, it's not available for the rest of the podium anymore.

Mixing contests are great for learning and always unfair I have lost some of them, so I know. In the end, besides all technical skills, it‘s also a matter of taste. Thanks again for your detailed feedbacks, something you don’t get anywhere else.

I updated my version in #190.
to those who are interested in my kick treatment, I added a diagram for a free 4-band limiter with very steep separation. it changed the sound remarkably.
now you have also a loud and rocking radio version, while the winners to me appear like good album versions.
