Rosanne Cash was interviewed on National Public Radio's public discussion show, "1A" The hype is about gun control but the interview was wide ranging covering everything from dealing with her father's fame to overt sexism in the music business.

One subject was the lack of female representation in recording studios with less than two (2%) percent of the for hire recording studios having a female engineering assistant or chief engineer. Rosanne Cash stated she recalled seeing only one female engineer in any of the studios she has recorded in over her forty plus years of recording.

She also indicated she has never seen a female producer.
